             This weeks post is all about one of my favorite singers, Becky G! I love all her songs and for this post I am going to write about her musical style. And a little bit about how she became a singer, and her past.

             Becky G's original was name Rebecca Marie Gomez, she was born on March 2, 1997 to Alexander Gomez and Alexandra (known by Alex) Gomez. Both of her parents came from Mexican heritage, which made Becky and her three younger siblings Mexican American.  Her family lost her home in 2007 due to financial problems. They moved into the converted garage of their grandparents' home in Los Angeles. There, Becky posted videos of herself singing and dancing on Youtube. She was discovered on youtube, like most stars. Becky is managed by Dr. Luke of Sony Music Entertainment. Her best selling singles include; "Becky from the Block", "Oath" (feat.Cher Lloyd), and play it again.

Family Favorites

          Every year my family puts together a family favorites CD, which is a CD with all of our favorite songs for that year on it. Every person picks three to four songs, and we put them all together. This year my favorite songs are Me Myself and Time by Demi Lovato, I Know Paces by Taylor Swift, Butterflies by Zendaya, and Too Young by Sabrina Carpender. I love all of these songs and can't wait to see what everybody else picks. Anyways that's it for now I would love to hear some of your favorite songs, so write a comment!
